Leadership of Learning and Assessment (LOLA)
LOLA is a dynamic learning programme for all those concerned with promoting learning through assessment. This programme provides participants with an in depth understanding of the history of assessment and how to best lead on assessment for learning (AfL).
LOLA is ideally suited to heads of department, curriculum leaders, learning leaders, education practitioners and anyone who has an active interest in assessment for learning.
Seven half day face-to-face sessions based around blended learning that will take you through a number of core and elective units, individual tutorials, online self and peer diagnostics, online activities, remote access to a facilitator or coach online for additional support and an action research inquiry.
The programme lasts two terms with the next start date in March 2012.
The cost of this two term programme including all materials and refreshments is £575.00 However a grant could be obtained through the TDA, for The Department of Education's (National Scholarship Scheme) to subsidise part of this fee or cover the total cost of the programme.
